As mentioned in my previous entry, Emily and I are in the process of searching for a house. Well, today we found out that our bid on a home in Westchester was accepted! Huzzah! Very exciting stuff, and now comes all the tricksy in-between steps such as escrow, the inspection, and the like, but we are now on track to have a home of our own in the very near future.
Woohoo!
So, I'm doing some research regarding buying a house, and I'm looking at the "closing" entry on Wikipedia, when I suddenly am overcome by the silliness of that approach, recalling the scene in Office Space where the computer programmers are trying to figure out how to launder money by looking "money laundering" up in the dictionary.
Congratulations to Ryan, Deedee, and Luke VanderYacht on the addition of the newest member of their family, Jack Dean VanderYacht, who was, in fact, born yesterday.
