Just watched Ghostbusters for the first time in a long while. Man, that's still a great movie!
Last week, I officially converted to Judaism. It was a pretty exciting event, I gave a speech and everything.

That pic is of me holding the Torah while the Rabbi leads a ceremony welcoming me to the tribe.

This pic is of me and my folks, as most visitors will recognize. I was happy that my folks were able to come to the big night. They were also featured quite prominently in my speech.
Also attended a beautiful memorial on Sunday for my friends' Adam and Ryan's mom. Vicki really touched a lot of lives, and we'll all miss her.
This coming weekend looks to be a lot of fun. Saturday, we'll be celebrating Ryan's birthday, and Sunday is the 2004 BASL Draft, which I've been looking forward to for something close to six months.
This is ridiculous.
Oh, hi there.
I heard an interesting story on NPR yesterday on the way home from work. It was about how language can control a political debate. The discussion was basically everything I learned in my "Political Environment of Policy Making" class last spring, summed up in five minutes. Go give a listen when you get a chance.
Here's an example of what this is all about: Consider the phrase "tax relief."
