Holy crap on a stick! The Anaheim Angels are signing Vladimir Guerrero! Woooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Vlad is simply one of the best players in baseball. This has been THE most amazing off-season the Angels could have hoped for - OF's Vlad and Jose Guillen, RHP's Bartolo Colon and Kevlim Escobar... this team is 100% better.

The Angels will win the AL West in 2004. You read it here first.

Yo. I imagine many readers have heard in some fashion about Emily's big news, so I'll just say a quick "congratulation!" to my lovely fiancee and then get to some baseball ramblings:

- I've recently written a year in review/preview article for my Strat-O-Matic DC Dragons.
- I've also taken on another team in the BASL. The league has expanded, and I'm now running the Roswell Grays in addition to my Dragons. I'm looking forward to sending a second franchise to the glorious heights of success my Dragons have enjoyed.
- Hey, look! It's the annual "Shawn Green to 1st Base" rumor!
- The Angels off-season acquisitions of RHP's Bartolo Colon and Kelvim Escobar and OF Jose Guillen are great news. Now if only they'd sign a 1B...

In other news, I've scheduled my conversion to Judaism for mid-February. Soon, I'll officially be Jewish. Oy!
